I love when talented actors use their voice to spread awareness about stuttering. As a mental health clinician and community organizer – and now an Assistant Professor in Social Work – I can confidently and convincingly share that one of the most powerful forms of healing is “coming out” with your stuttering. The bigger the platform, the bigger the “pow!”

Liz,
What a wonderful find. I adore the part when she said “trick your brain, but with people’s names you can’t trick.” She does such a beautiful expression of the stuttering experience.

Thank you Elizabeth! I agree- I appreciate her authenticity and validation in the struggle.
Will miss our regular postings! These have been wonderful to share!
