Happy #InternationalStutteringAwarenessDay from all of us at the Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA)! We’re thrilled to mark this special day with the launch of our first-ever national advertising campaign, “stutter.ca.” This campaign is designed to educate Canadians about the 410,000 people in our country who stutter, highlighting the fact that stuttering can manifest in different ways for different people. Through powerful visuals that depict repetition, verbal blocks, and prolonged sounds, we aim to raise awareness of the various forms stuttering can take.To make a bold statement, we’ve taken our stutter.ca website and created 410,000 unique versions of the URL, symbolizing each Canadian who stutters. This approach not only captures attention but also provides a tangible illustration of the diverse nature of stuttered speech. Each unique URL redirects to the CSA, reinforcing the message that we support the stuttering community in speaking freely and confidently. |
Our campaign is launching with eye-catching posters in Toronto, digital banners on The Weather Network, an exciting 15-second commercial playing in Cineplex theatres, and engaging content on Instagram. We encourage you to share our posts online using #InternationalStutteringAwarenessDay and tagging @CSAstuttering to spread the word.Thank you for your support,The Canadian Stuttering Association |
