Don’t Tell Me to “Slow Down”
The first annual Don’t Tell Me to “Slow Down” 5K run/walk will occur on Oct 22nd, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. EDT in Cary, North Carolina. The race is being held to benefit the National Stuttering Association (NSA) and raise awareness about stuttering. We invite you to participate in this important cause by being a sponsor, volunteer, or runner/walker (you can participate virtually!) This event is being held to celebrate International Stuttering Awareness Day.
The race has been organized by members of the NSA Raleigh, North Carolina Adult chapter and TWST (Teens Who STutter) group. The video features Lera Cline, one of the chapter members and race organizers telling about the race. To participate go to:

We hope this event will bring together individuals who stutter and those who don’t to join in a common cause.
Awesome! If I lived there, I would definitely go. Good luck!
